Howard J. Perofsky

I received my medical degree from Columbia University in New York and completed five years of general surgery training at Mary Bassett Hospital, Columbia University, Cooperstown, New York. I completed a two year plastic surgery residency at Wright State University, Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. I am board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery; a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Practice Philosophy

To provide people with comprehensive care within the specialty of plastic surgery, that is excellent in quality and compassionate in delivery. I believe in being honest with patients when recommending surgery and predicting the results that they can expect. While I will not try to talk a patient into having an operation, I do not hide my enthusiasm for a procedure that may improve the patients quality of life.

Reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the breasts including enlargement, reduction and lift, body contouring induding surgery after weight loss, skin cancer surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and chronic and non-healing wounds.
